I am one of six children reared by the most loving, hardworking and devoted parents, who dedicated their lives to making provisions and opportunities available to their children that they were not afforded.   They did not go to college, but their endeavor to pay it forward to their offspring was their mission.  Heeding that mission, I matriculated through the University of Southwestern University, Lafayette, Louisiana, with a focus in Criminal Justice.   In 1989, still wet behind the ears and very naive, I set my course toward the Tidewater area of Virginia, to stake my claim on my chosen field.  I landing in Hampton for a brief spell, before relocating to Richmond, Virginia, where in 1992, I became a State probation officer.  About 5 years into my career, I started looking for opportunities that would propel me toward personal and professional growth.  There were 3 options on the table at the time – law school, a master’s program, or federal probation.  In 1998, I was sworn in as a U.S. Probation Officer for the Eastern District of Virginia, and in 2002, I obtained my Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.  In 2009, I returned to the Hampton Roads area upon marrying the love of my life and continued my career until 2018, when I retired after 20 years of service. Consequently, I have time to enjoy our children and grandchildren, socializing with friends, traveling, and fishing.

I have been very fortunate, beginning with the parents God gave me, to my rewarding career in law enforcement, to the amazing people that I meet all the time  Working in law enforcement afforded me the capacity to dialogue with a myriad of people from all backgrounds and walks of life.  I believe it has been the perfect segue to assisting the commnunity in discovering and uncovering the home buying/selling needs.
